A tricompartment unloader for anterior knee pain and OA in the medial, lateral or patellofemoral compartment. The energy-return hinge works like an external muscle-tendon system, and the patented tensioning dial lets the wearer engage, adjust and release support in seconds.
Indications and contraindications.
- Anterior knee pain
- Patellofemoral osteoarthritis
- Multi-compartment knee osteoarthritis
- Medial or lateral compartment osteoarthritis
- Patellar tendinitis or tendinosis
- Quadriceps weakness or injury
- ACL unloading
- Extensor mechanism unloading
- Post-operative recovery
- Significant fixed knee flexion contracture (the knee cannot straighten)
- Unhealed fracture or recent knee surgery, unless your surgeon has cleared you for bracing
- Open wounds, ulcers or skin infection where the brace sits
- Suspected or confirmed deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in the leg
- Severe peripheral vascular disease or poor circulation in the leg
- Reduced sensation in the leg, unless fitted and monitored by a clinician
- Known allergy or sensitivity to the brace materials
