High-powered, adjustable dorsiflexion assist supports the user through every phase of gait. Set it in the clinic or at home with the dial and push-button release. The 3D-printed frame slips into standard footwear and under clothing.
Indications and contraindications.
- Dorsiflexor weakness or foot drop
- Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease
- Stroke or traumatic brain injury
- Multiple sclerosis
- Muscular dystrophy
- Arthritis
- Varus or valgus foot and ankle deformities
- Fixed plantarflexion contracture (the ankle cannot reach neutral)
- Severe spasticity or ankle instability that needs a rigid or locked AFO
- Knee weakness or hyperextension that needs knee control (see the Hercules or Zeus KAFO)
- Acute Charcot neuroarthropathy of the foot or ankle
- Open wounds, ulcers or skin infection where the brace sits
- Suspected or confirmed deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in the leg
- Severe peripheral vascular disease or poor circulation in the leg
- Reduced sensation in the leg, unless fitted and monitored by a clinician
- Known allergy or sensitivity to the brace materials
